The maritime industry is on the cusp of a revolution, and Norsepower is at the forefront. As a pioneer in sustainable shipping solutions, we're harnessing the power of wind to maximize fuel efficiency and reduce emissions. Our innovative Rotor Sail technology has been successfully deployed since 2014, and we're now seeking a seasoned Sales Manager to join our team.
This exciting role offers the opportunity to work closely with our 7-person sales team, executing the sales strategy and achieving sales targets. You'll independently manage customer relationships, overseeing sales projects from technical feasibility studies to commercial negotiations. Excellent communication and interaction skills are essential, as you'll be working with diverse customers, nationalities, and cultures.
As a key member of our international business development team, you'll contribute to shaping a cleaner future for the shipping industry. With a motivated and collaborative team behind you, comprising highly driven professionals from various disciplines, you'll have the support and resources needed to succeed.
Requirements- Proven experience in sales operations within the marine industry or other international industrial project environments
- Relevant educational background (B.Sc/M.Sc), preferably in a technical field
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- A systematic approach to work and excellent documentation skills, including the use of modern CRM systems
- Readiness to travel (60-70 days/year)
- Full working proficiency in English; other languages considered beneficial
