This position reports to

Regional Sales Manager for Northern and Central Europe, Motion Drive Products.

Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will support the sales organization and customers throughout the sales process in the assigned countries in the Northern and Central Europe region. You will increase new and existing business by supporting the Local Sales Units (LSUs) to have relevant knowledge of products and markets.

This role is open globally, but location is set in Europe with a preference for Northern and Central Europe countries. The work model for the role is hybrid.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Participating in sales strategy discussions for assigned countries, agreeing on short- and long-term goals, and negotiating the Division sales budget.
  • Creating division sales plans together with Local Sales Units and helping to develop stronger and more productive Local Sales Units.
  • Analyzing customer needs and competitor offerings through general market information and data provided by Local Sales Units.
  • Ensuring efficient marketing actions (e.g., product launches) and communication to Local Sales Units and customers.
  • Communicating the value proposition of the products, systems, and packages.
  • Supporting Local Sales Units and customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers.
  • Defining pricing of products, systems, and packages for Local Sales Units, focusing on volume, mix, value proposition, and profitability targets for the division.
  • Providing technical support during technical meetings, product presentations, negotiations, and offering product/solution/package-related training.
Qualifications For The Role
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Sales and Business Development.
  • Knowledge of Drives and Electric Motors is needed.
  • Engineering industry experience with relevant technologies.
  • Relationship builder with excellent social and collaboration skills. Customer-centric mindset.
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to adapt.
  • Industrial automation experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English. Scandinavian language is a plus.
