
EMEA Electrification Sales Director

Danfoss GmbH is seeking a talented professional to serve as an EMEA Electrification Sales Director, focusing on the Finnish market.
This position will be responsible for driving profitable growth by identifying, developing, and onboarding new electrification customers, system integrators, and projects in alignment with the EMEA electrification strategy.
Collaboration with the EMEA project management team, solution support, and local sales organizations will ensure a thorough qualification process and build a high-performance pipeline of opportunities.
In this role, you will take full ownership of preparing offers, managing coordination with diverse stakeholders, and ensuring projects are successfully completed. Your primary focus will be on fostering strong customer relationships in Finland, maintaining seamless communication and collaboration, and delivering tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will lead the development of tailored value propositions, drive initiatives with a 'high winning mindset,' and secure new customers and projects through effective relationship-building and collaboration.
As a Business Development expert, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends, develop go-to-market strategies, and provide actionable insights on industry trends. This will ensure alignment with long-term growth goals.
With a customer-centric approach, the role leverages digital sales channels, social selling, and networking to build strong relationships, providing end-to-end support throughout the project lifecycle to ensure lasting partnerships.
To thrive in this role, you will need a degree in electrical engineering, electrical technology, or a related field, along with experience in business development within electrification or industries like marine, grid solutions, or hydrogen. A solid understanding of electrification, drive technology, and project management is essential.
Technical expertise in µGrid, hydrogen solutions, battery systems, and high-power charging (MCS), along with knowledge of simulation tools and Danfoss Drives solutions, is highly valued. Proficiency in digital sales and social selling is crucial for engaging effectively with customers.
Experience in the OEM business, managing the full sales process, and building tailored value propositions for system integrators is a key asset. Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, as well as familiarity with the Finnish market, are advantageous.
We seek a seasoned professional who can navigate complex business challenges, drive results-oriented initiatives, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Fluency in Finnish and English, along with a readiness to travel within Finland and the Baltics, is required.
