Your role and responsibilities
We are looking for a motivated Sales Support Engineer at ABB Oy, Drives Service, in Helsinki, Finland.

Are you a results-driven professional with a keen interest in customer support and technical solutions? We are looking for a Sales Support Engineer to join our motivated team. In this role, you will be crucial to the success of our LV AC Drives modernization products. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with multiple stakeholders, this role is for you

The working model is: hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

  1. Making high quality quotations and giving technical support to Local Sales Units (LSU)
  2. Giving technical product and process presentations to Local Sales Units (LSU) and end customers in countries
  3. Monitoring the order forecasts of the countries in your region
  4. Collaborating with order-based engineering, product management and product development teams to improve solutions
  5. Staying up to date on product features, industry trends, and competitor offerings
  6. Collaborating with marketing to develop technical content for sales materials.
Qualifications for the role
  1. It is essential that you are comfortable in communicating with people and have an attentive customer service mindset
  2. Good understanding of the service business is relevant
  3. Comprehensive knowledge of the portfolio of Drives (frequency converters) is relevant
  4. Good skills in Microsoft Office, and beneficial skills in AutoCAD and/or Creo
  5. Experience in the project business and/or order-based engineering is relevant
  6. You enjoy working both with self-management skills and as part of a team
  7. Ability to show your experience in presentation and negotiation skills is essential
  8. Solution-focused, collaborative, analytical and results-oriented approach is relevant
  9. You are comfortable in communicating in English, both written and spoken
  10. M.Sc. or B. Sc. in technology specializing in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent
  11. The role requires travelling globally, 30 days in a year or more based on own interest
