  • As a highly personable, technically curious and enthusiastic Axon Solutions Engineer (Presales), you consistently strive to be the trusted customer advisor for the value and technical aspects of Axon's globally leading solutions. You will use your experience with Software as a Service (SaaS), on-premise software, networking, installation, configuration plus excellence in supporting highly impactful PoC's to support us in our mission to Protect Life and Accelerate Justice.

A member of the Axon EMEA Sales Engineering Team, the Presales Engineer supports the sales campaign to communicate the value of and deploy and support evidence capture devices, digital evidence management solutions SaaS and on-premise solutions to Public Safety Agencies across Europe region.

The Sales Engineer is a quota carrying, strategic customer-facing front line role that facilitates and influences product enhancements and the deployment of Axon Enterprise's products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the technical and value aspects of the sales effort across territory which will include: impactful and compelling technical presentations, architecture design discussions, competitive displacement, proof-of-concept engagements, leading RFP/RFI responses, solution demonstrations and technical workshops with customers and partners.
  • Support the smooth transition of the sales opportunity into successful delivery by our Professional Services and/or Partner network.
  • Consistently research, network and ideate to become the regional "go to" resource for future solution opportunities, product roadmap development and thought leadership.
  • Presents and evangelises Axon technical & business value propositions at industry events.
  • Develops in-depth technical knowledge of AXON and domain expertise within technology subject area.
  • Documents customer feature requests and issues, providing feedback to sales and product management.
  • Provides support to product Test and Evaluations.
  • Executes customer site assessments targeting technology infrastructure assessments.
  • Transfers industry, technical and product knowledge to customers and colleagues.
  • Proactively plans to prevent pre and post sales issues to shorten time to revenue.
About You:
  • You have a natural and enthusiastic aptitude for technology plus the ability to communicate its value using compelling and contextualised stories to anyone from any background.
  • You are confident to own and professionally drive customers to successful outcomes with Axon solutions.
  • You possess a self-starter mentality - able to identify what tasks need your ownership and when you should collaborate.
  • You hold a Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Computer Science or Engineering fields) or equivalent experience.
  • You are willing to travel significantly (70%), some travel internationally.
  • You must have a valid Passport and Clean Driving License.
  • You have 8+ years experience as a Sales Engineer, Systems Engineer, Network Engineer or similar related field.
  • You have knowledge and demonstrated operating experience in one or more of the following areas of specialisations: Digital Video, Mobile communications, IP Engineering, IP security, Embedded Systems, IAM, SAAS.
  • You have a strong understanding of CCTV systems, VMS, network technologies and IP stack (for example Genetec, Milestone, Avigilon, Ocularis, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANS, firewalls, VPN gateways, proxies, etc.).
  • You have high degree of technical knowledge in computing infrastructure components, data centers, and system support.
  • You have experience in data integration and data analysis to support expanding product portfolio.
  • You have experience and understanding of large-scale infrastructure-as-a-service platforms (e.g. Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, OpenStack).
  • You have demonstrable experience of strong project management for successful PoC's.
  • You are fluent in Hebrew language skills and excellent English language skills essential.
  • You have evidence of effectively adding value as a Global team member.
  • You have evidence of working effectively remotely and independently.
  • You have knowledge and experience implementing and managing relational database solutions, in-particular Microsoft/Azure SQL, an advantage.
  • You have practical knowledge of SAN technologies (EMC, HP 3Par, etc.) an advantage.
