
Sales Engineer

As a Sales Engineer, you are an important member of our sales team, driving solutions with our market-leading security products and services. Three main focus areas of Ignition Technology NEUR are Identity (IAM, PAM, IGA), SaaS security and XDR/SOC. More information about current vendors can be found at Ignition Technology.

Accountabilities and ActivitiesYour key responsibilities are to provide technical support to help Ignition deliver a high-quality sales service and help Ignition to become the "go to" security software distributor. You will be responsible for:
- Working closely with the existing Ignition Technology team, vendors, and partners in NEUR
- Understanding and effectively presenting our vendors and solutions
- Working closely with our partners and vendors
- Providing technical support to Ignition and partners' sales personnel
- Running presentations and demos to end-customers
- Creating and delivering compelling demonstrations of Ignition Technology products and solutions
- Identifying and qualifying new opportunities and supporting technical pre-sales activities to opportunity closure
- Enabling and leveraging channel partners and working successfully in a channel-driven sales model
- Continuous self-improvement and learning to maintain current technical knowledge and participate in technical communities of interest
- Engaging effectively with partners, both in writing and presentation, and utilizing creative problem-solving skills
- Organised, structured, and efficient in your work, with good attention to detail
- Flexibility, and the ability to work successfully in various environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good team player willing to share information and foster a positive team spirit
- Self-motivated
- Pre-sales experience handling solutions around Identity, Cloud Security, and XDR/SOC
- Pre-sales experience handling Enterprise and SMB customers
- Industry knowledge of Identity and SaaS security products and technology trends
- Experience selling, demonstrating, installing, and/or solving security products
- Travel within the region is often required, and international travel may be necessary
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Needs to be fluent in Finnish and English
