About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Engineer to join our team in Finland and Baltics. As an Area Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our customer base within the designated territory.

Your primary focus will be on generating new leads through cold calling, site visits, and industry-related events. You will also be responsible for pursuing, nurturing, and closing all leads to ensure successful sales outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background with hands-on experience working with industrial equipment, preferably in the marine sector. Proven sales engineering experience (1-3 years) or similar commercial experience is essential. You should also possess excellent interpersonal skills, be commercially savvy, and able to forge strong relationships with key decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new business leads through various channels, including cold calling, site visits, and industry events.
  • Pursue, nurture, and close all leads to ensure successful sales outcomes.
  • Collect and analyze customer data to identify opportunities for sales growth.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Cavotec's products and services to effectively communicate their value to customers.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and tailor solutions to meet those requirements.
  • Negotiate and close service and new product opportunities to drive revenue growth.
Requirements
  • Solid technical background with hands-on experience working with industrial equipment, preferably in the marine sector.
  • Proven sales engineering experience (1-3 years) or similar commercial experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Commercially savvy and able to negotiate complex sales agreements.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets.
