Job Purpose:
We are seeking a skilled Business Development and Account Manager to join our team in Helsinki. This role entails identifying new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and fostering strong relationships with roasters in the Nordics and Baltics.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base
- Develop effective strategies to generate leads and convert them into sales
- Conduct market research into industry trends and customer needs
- Represent our company at trade shows and industry events, promoting our brand and networking with potential clients
Client Engagement:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer account management
- Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with clients, providing them with expert advice and support
- Negotiate contracts and agreements that meet customer needs and expectations
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts, including cross-selling and up-selling
- Address client issues and concerns promptly and efficiently
- Monitor account performance and track key metrics to inform sales strategies
Requirements:
- Excellent English language skills are a requirement
- Relevant experience in coffee, sales, or account management is desired
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Will to travel both domestically and internationally as required
