Noordpoort Coffee is a reputable green coffee importer with offices in the Netherlands and a presence in Helsinki. We source high-quality commercial and specialty grade coffees, storing them in facilities in Tallinn and Antwerp.
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Business Development and Account Manager to join our team in Helsinki. The ideal candidate will drive growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and building strong relationships with roasters in the Nordics and Baltics.
Main Responsibilities:
- Pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base
- Develop strategies to generate leads and convert them
- Conduct market research into industry trends and customer needs
- Network and promote our business at trade shows and industry events
Account Handling:
- Lead customer account management efforts
- Become a trusted advisor to clients, building long-lasting relationships
- Negotiate contracts and ensure customer satisfaction
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts
- Monitor account performance and track key metrics
Requirements:
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential
- Experience in coffee, sales, or account management is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Able to work collaboratively and independently
- Will to travel both domestically and internationally
