Job Description

We are seeking a highly driven and resilient individual to join our team as a Venture Lead in Finland. As the first person on ground, this is a hands-on role where your initial focus will be on establishing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely deal closure.

You will define and execute your strategy and continuously adjust it to meet the needs of the business. This includes leading the Finnish expansion, including potential acquisitions, and being responsible for the Finnish profit & loss and overall operations.

Rapidly building a large and value-adding pool of partners and hiring, developing, and leading a top-notch team of 10-15 people across sales, board management, event & members, and investments are key aspects of this role.

Find and attract the best investment cases, lead end-to-end investment deals from deal sourcing to investment, and represent CVX at events, gatherings, conferences, etc.

What We Expect From You
  • A high work ethic with a strong sense of urgency

  • 5+ years of experience ideally in venture capital, high-growth startups, or fast-paced environments
  • A proactive approach and ownership of everything you do
  • A deep interest in the venture capital and start-up space, with a passion for analyzing and investing in companies
  • People-oriented with the ability to bring people together
  • The ability to communicate effectively with individuals at management and board level
  • The ability to win the trust of business leaders
  • Outstanding analytical and structured problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding revenue targets
  • Natural ability to sell and work with sales on both strategic and operative levels
  • Strong leadership skills with past experience in leading and managing teams
  • Fluency in Finnish and English
  • Preferably, a network in the Finnish start-up ecosystem.
