We are now looking for a result-oriented
SALES MANAGER
for Battery Energy Storage System sales to enable us to meet our ambitious sales targets and continue to grow.
In this role, you will focus on energy storage system sales in the Nordics, primarily in Sweden, but also in Norway and Denmark. You'll be acting as a frontrunner in expanding into new markets. Our customer base consists mostly of renewable energy investors, project developers, and energy companies. You will truly dive deep into consultative sales, as you must really understand the customer's business in order to create a financially and technically beneficial and attractive proposal for the customer – we are selling winning investment concepts
You will be responsible for the B2B sales process for capital investment projects – of course, with help from the back office team, sales support, and market analysts. The role requires the ability for new customer acquisition - you will claim an active role networking, representing Merus Power at fairs and exhibitions, and also being in direct contact with potential partners. Your main goal is to develop new business in new markets.
Do you have what it takes?
We are looking for someone who already has experience in complex B2B sales. You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree, e.g., either in economics or a technical field, and you already have strong experience working within the energy storage business or electrical market, preferably in Sweden. Thanks to your previous experience, you have created a wide potential customer network where you can use your independent ability to design and discuss the systems. A deep understanding of financial and business acumen is necessary.
You are courageous and possess a certain type of seniority and convincingness as this role requires the ability to lead your own work as well as handle challenging client encounters. You are a strong communicator in English and Swedish. Other languages are considered a plus. Ideally, the job is located either in Sweden or in Finland, with remote work or other working arrangements possible.
