We're looking for a skilled Senior Technical Accountant to join our finance team at Wolt. In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in revenue recognition to analyze sales contracts and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in public accounting and/or industry experience in technical accounting or revenue recognition roles. You will be responsible for evaluating accounting treatments for new business lines and initiatives, analyzing non-standard sales contracts, and leading efforts to enhance the contracting process.
Key Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification required.
- 7+ years of relevant experience, including public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and/or industry experience in a technical accounting or revenue recognition role.
- Expertise in revenue recognition principles under ASC 606/IFRS 15.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS with experience in technical accounting research.
