Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Finnish Market team as a Category Manager. You will be responsible for driving growth through customer and shopper insights and data-driven strategies.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Cultivate Customer Relationships: Develop strong relationships with key customers and provide actionable insights into shopper behaviors, trends, and category performance.
  • Drive Strategic Planning: Adapt global strategies into locally relevant plans focused on assortment, pricing, promotions, and placement to drive growth.
  • Maximize Category Potential: Identify growth opportunities and craft propositions that enhance customer value and profitability.
  • Optimize Product Assortments: Utilize analytics to optimize product assortments, pricing, and shelf placement.

What We Expect from You

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or category management roles within an international environment.
  • Experience in FMCG and Finnish retail.
  • Strong strategic and tactical business understanding.
  • Structured and pragmatic problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities, preferably experience from Nielsen and POS data.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Effective leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
  • Relevant educational background (e.g., Master's degree in business administration).
  • Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English.
