
Business Development Manager

Hitachi Energy is a global technology leader advancing a sustainable energy future for all. As a key player in the energy transition, we require a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Specialist to join our team in Vaasa, Tampere or Helsinki.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead large sales opportunities and Capture Teams supported by a Global team of professionals.
- Build and maintain consistent and long-lasting relationships throughout the business and with customers in Nordics.
- Implement the Global strategy in the Nordics and ensure business development and sales growth in the market.
- Maximize geographic coverage, channel penetration, and key growth segments (Utilities, Industry, Datacenters, Transport, and Renewables).
- Cultivate customer engagement in Nordics through customer-focused collaboration, awareness, and action towards market opportunities.
We are looking for a driven and self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders and create tight long-lasting relationships.
- A degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or similar is preferred.
- Experience from key customer segments, e.g., Utilities, Industry, Transport, or Renewables, is beneficial.
- Able to solve problems and think outside the box to achieve the best results.
- Organized, systematic, and able to work against deadlines and within different processes.
- Good communication skills in Finnish and English.
