Business Development Manager is responsible for contributing to DANX growth and profitability by developing existing customers, creating new business by identifying prospects, and building a healthy pipeline primarily in Finland, but in close cooperation with the DANX companies in the Nordics, Baltics, and Poland. Our solutions are unique to each customer, so our sales process is highly consultative by nature.
Business Development Manager is part of our Groups Sales department and reports to the Head of Sales Finland. As our Finnish organization continues to grow, we are looking to add a new member to our team. While we primarily work together from the office, the role naturally takes you on the road. Our offices are located in Vantaa and Pirkkala. Occasionally you will have the opportunity to work from home.
Main duties and responsibilities of this position are:
- Identify prospects and build a pipeline to drive revenue growth in parallel with profitability.
- Commercially responsible for existing customers, developing relations, and generating more business.
- Participate in customer implementations and be part of customer teams.
- Support as a door opener for new business to team colleagues.
- Participate in RFQ processes, carrying out market analyses.
- Participate in exhibitions or similar industry meetings and act as an ambassador.
- Involve the company's various functions to create the best possible conditions for delivering to the customer.
- Budgeting & forecasting.
The ideal candidate for the role is someone who is:

The person constantly strives for good and visible results and puts it in the greatest focus. Motivated by achieved results.
- Independent: Self-initiated. Takes responsibility for his task, structures his own approach, and drives his processes forward. Acts on his own convictions and maintains a high level of work.
Requirements:
The person we are looking for does not necessarily have previous sales experience. Your background may be in customer service, after-sales marketing, some other role in logistics, or even from the other side of the table. To help you assess if this role suits you, here are some key requirements:
Language requirement:
Finnish: native/fluent (written and spoken)
English: fluent (written and spoken)
Swedish and other languages: desired
Background:
Perhaps you have already worked in sales and logistics, or maybe you haven't yet fully transitioned into a sales role but are eager to develop in this field.
Your mindset is what takes you further
IT:
System experience of working with M365 package (mostly Excel and PowerPoint), and you are not afraid of new technology and IT solutions.
Driver's license and willingness to travel:
Car benefit is provided with the job, and travelling within Finland is required. Occasionally there is a need for travelling within Europe.
