Your Role: As the General Manager (GM) for Finland, you will take charge of your market's performance and profitability. Your role involves close collaboration with various global teams, including operations, support, marketing, and legal, to ensure alignment and support for your market. Your primary focus will be on driving efficient growth and enhancing profitability by leading diverse commercial teams and acting as the senior executive representing the company in your market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Vision: Establish and communicate a clear vision for market growth, developing and implementing strategies to enhance market penetration, user acquisition, and order volume. Identify and leverage emerging trends to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Commercial Leadership: Oversee various commercial teams, ensuring a broad and diverse selection of offerings while maintaining healthy unit economics through effective negotiations and promotional strategies.
  • Partnership Development: Build and nurture relationships with key local stakeholders, including merchants and strategic partners, to expand our network and enhance service offerings. Negotiate exclusive deals that benefit our customers.
  • Operational Excellence: Champion the customer experience by proactively addressing feedback and resolving issues. Monitor market performance metrics and collaborate with teams to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative culture within the organization, participate in key hiring decisions, and inspire teams to achieve ambitious goals. Lead by example to promote a positive work environment.
  • Brand Representation: Act as the spokesperson for Wolt in your market, representing the company in various forums and engagements. Work to elevate Wolt's brand and enhance customer sentiment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in developing and executing commercial strategies.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on team engagement.
  • Experience managing P&L responsibilities.
  • Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Fluency in English and Finnish.
