Senior Sourcing Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Manager to join our dynamic Sourcing Team at Nordea Bank Norge ASA. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving cost savings, process efficiencies, and value creation while ensuring regulatory compliance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the spend and contract portfolio within their dedicated business area, running sourcing projects in accordance with Nordea Procurement Policy and related guidelines, and driving a wide range of procurement activities including strategic sourcing initiatives, stakeholder management, internal and market analyses, supplier management, negotiation strategies, and tactical and strategic recommendations for project steering committees.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, lead, and manage strategic sourcing initiatives to deliver cost savings and ensure quality in line with business strategy.
- Actively manage stakeholders by leading and developing the strategic relationship with key stakeholders.
- Drive internal analyses and market analyses to identify market trends and opportunities to optimize the supplier base.
- Actively manage key suppliers to ensure performance and quality throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Prepare and execute on negotiation strategies.
- Develop tactical and strategic recommendations for project steering committees and manage stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives and strategy.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in a relevant field such as Law, Business, Economics, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or Political/Social Science.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with stakeholders on all organizational levels.
- Proven analytical skills and ability to communicate findings in a clear and structured way.
- Demonstrated result orientation and drive.
- Solid business acumen, enabling you to develop an effective sourcing strategy and influence suppliers and key stakeholders in the organization.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
- Experience with international roles or working in an international company with a diverse culture and daily interaction with many different nationalities will be seen as an advantage.
- Experience in Project Management and Change Management is an asset.
- Proven track record in sourcing and negotiation is an asset.
