Lead the Growth of Wolt Finland

We are seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead our operations in Finland, driving growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. As the most senior executive in the market, you will be responsible for developing and executing commercial strategies, leading commercial teams, and ensuring close collaboration with global teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Growth: Set the vision for market growth, develop strategies to accelerate market penetration, drive user acquisition, and increase order volume.
  • Commercial Success: Lead commercial teams across Restaurants, New Verticals, Drive, Ads, and potential new business lines, ensuring a broad and in-depth selection while maintaining healthy unit economics.
  • Key Partnership Development: Build relationships with local players, cultivate strong relationships with merchants and strategic partners, and negotiate partnerships and contracts to deliver exclusive deals and promotions.
  • Operational Excellence: Champion customer experience, proactively address feedback, and resolve issues to exceed expectations, leveraging customer insights to improve product offerings and drive customer loyalty.
  • Team Leadership & Culture: Ensure a collaborative environment, participate in key hiring decisions, run monthly business reviews, and inspire and empower teams to achieve ambitious goals.
Requirements:
  • A proven track record of developing and executing commercial strategies and leading commercial teams.
  • Experience in owning and managing a P&L.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to drive team engagement and collaboration.
  • Experience in hiring and motivating brilliant individuals.
  • Structured way of working and strong prioritization skills.
  • An analytical and strategic mindset with an ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • High energy and drive, enjoy working in fast-paced environments.
  • Fluent in English and Finnish.
