Veterinary Affairs Manager

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technical Support Specialist to provide technical nutritional support to veterinary customers and commercial support to regional sales and marketing teams in Finland.

This multifaceted role involves driving veterinary nutrition growth through influence of veterinary specialists and healthcare teams, building trust and respect within the veterinary industry, and delivering Hill's products to Specialist and other Veterinary Clinic accounts.

• Main Responsibilities:
• Provide technical nutritional support to veterinary customers through clinic visits, telephone and digital support 2-3 days per week.
• Develop and grow key opportunity customers through account-specific action plans and implementation of core strategies.
• Coach, train and mentor Territory Managers in veterinary channel sales and business development.
• Provide professional support to veterinary schools and regional veterinary meetings, and recruit student reps to ensure continued contact with the next veterinary generation.
• Maintain the highest professional and ethical standards while representing the company.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).
• Proficient in the use of Google Sheets/Excel.
• Ability to work independently and manage a fast-paced schedule with irregular hours and handle travel within region.
• Graduate degree in veterinary medicine.
• 3+ years of small animal clinical practice experience.
• Basic understanding of business terminology; good analytical skills.
• Strong work ethic, professional appearance and approach, high integrity.
• Self-motivated and highly competitive.
• Passion for pets and nutrition.
