Aalto University is seeking a Business Developer for Diamant Project

We are an international community of bold thinkers who shape a sustainable future with education, research breakthroughs, and innovative ideas and solutions. Our Department of Electronics and Nanoengineering conducts research and arranges related courses in the fields of electromagnetics, micro and nanotechnology, radio engineering, and space technology.

The Diamant Project presents a fundamental change in the way we deploy large antennas for small satellites through a novel concept of line feed system. This technology is not only disruptive to current small satellite platforms but also enables the development of new business in space and non-space markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and negotiate with partners to commercialize the Diamant Project
  • Prepare commercialization paths to meet the potential clients' demands
  • Develop a go-to market plan for the services and products of the project
  • Map out different commercialization options, including start-up establishment

Requirements
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience and proven track record in business development, commercialization, and entrepreneurship
  • Experience in the radio and ICT industry or some exposure to it helps
  • Ability to work with people from different backgrounds
  • Excellent teamwork, negotiation, and communications skills
