About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Innovation Project Manager to join our team at Solera Holdings, LLC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving projects that aim to bring new concepts to address the pain points of our customer base.

This is a customer-driven role where you will connect the dots between customer needs and pain points, our solution and data assets, and what new technology or potential partners can bring.

You will have the opportunity to drive the delivery of new concepts or reinvent existing concepts, ranging from new functionalities for our customer base to evolving our business processes to help us scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of our solution innovation funnel from ideation to validation and support selected concepts throughout their development and go-to-market phase.
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of our solutions, including personas and use cases.
  • Research our market landscape to monitor competition innovations and identify potential partners.
  • Analyze our solutions stakeholders' needs (internal and external) and facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to identify new worthwhile concepts to investigate.
  • Maintain a prioritized portfolio of ideas/concepts ready for deeper analysis and consideration.
  • Refine selected concepts so they can be presented to a wider internal audience and ultimately to existing customers/internal stakeholders for feedback and validation, including developing early prototypes/proof of concepts.
  • Work with our business, R&D, and product teams to ensure selected concepts are both feasible, appealing, and differentiated.
  • Identify potential partners whose offering can complement our own to deliver new concepts to market.
  • Hand over selected concepts to our product development organization and act as a subject matter expert during the development phase to ensure that the selected concept stays true to its initial potential.
Requirements
  • Passion to solve customers and internal stakeholders' pain points through practical new ideas.
  • Ability to relate any initiative to the bigger picture and be our true customer champion.
  • Experience in innovation management from ideation, prioritization, prototyping to validation.
  • Experience in project management from creation to successful conclusion.
  • Good technical understanding of how SaaS solutions work and how they can grow.
  • The will and ability to become an expert on our overall solution.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, going beyond symptoms to search for the root causes of any roadblocks encountered and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Good business and commercial sense and the ability to build constructive and long-lasting relationships with customers, partners, and our teams alike.
  • Keen interest in data analytics with knowledge of tools like Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or equivalent.
  • The ability to get things done through other parts of the organization, irrespective of reporting lines.
  • Superior attention to detail combined with a big picture mindset.
  • Relevant education and/or relevant experience (3+ years).
