Today, we're a team of 29, primarily developers and data specialists, working to push the boundaries of industrial analytics. Since January 2023, we've been part of Kemira Oyj, a global leader in sustainable chemical solutions for water-intensive industries. With ambitious growth goals ahead, we're looking for talented individuals to join our Business Development team and help drive our success.

We are looking for a Sales Specialist...to join our Business Development team and drive our expansion into new markets.
We're looking for someone with a sales-oriented mindset and a strong desire to learn. You may not yet be an experienced salesperson, but you are eager to develop and grow in this role. You are bold and self-motivated — willing to reach out to new customers and seek solutions to their challenges.
You're also curious about technology and eager to advance the industry. At SimAnalytics, we work at the intersection of data and artificial intelligence, so an interest in emerging technologies is essential.
This role offers the opportunity to work with a scalable SaaS solution while developing expertise in sales processes, customer management, and market dynamics.
While previous experience in sales, customer service, or the industrial sector is a plus, what matters most is your attitude, ambition, and willingness to develop.
Your key responsibilitiesYour primary focus will be to build and manage a sustainable sales pipeline that aligns with our business and growth strategy. You'll play a critical role in identifying and securing new business opportunities by:
- Acquiring new customers and generating leads – Reaching out to potential customers, identifying their needs, and initiating meaningful conversations.
- Engaging in initial customer discussions – Clarifying requirements and demonstrating how Factory Harmonizer can create value.
- Arranging meetings and driving the sales pipeline forward
- Utilizing CRM systems and sales tools
- Collaborating with marketing – Supporting sales campaigns and representing SimAnalytics at industry events.
- Working cross-functionally – Partnering with internal teams to refine processes and enhance the overall customer experience.

We offer a bunch of nice perks and a salary matching your skills, knowledge and experience. Your fixed monthly salary, depending on your experience and competence, is roughly 3,000-4,000 euros. The sales commission is 4%.

To be successful in this job, you preferably have:- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or the industrial sector is an advantage, but the most important factors are the right attitude and a desire to develop.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills — you can converse with customers fluently and persuasively.
- The ability to understand customer needs and present solutions — you listen and articulate the value of our solutions (value proposition).
- A goal-oriented and results-driven mindset — you enjoy achieving targets and embracing the challenges of sales work.
- Curiosity about technology — you want to learn more about industrial data analytics and machine learning.

The starting date is flexible, and the role can be done from anywhere in Finland. Most of your colleagues are based in our Helsinki and Tampere offices, and while remote work is fully supported, visiting the Helsinki office occasionally is considered beneficial—not to mention a great way to connect with the team in person
