We are seeking a Service Delivery Manager to join our Regional IT Services Team.

You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of IT services to Metso customers across European countries, which involves planning, developing, and maintaining IT infrastructure and server platform services. Your role plays a crucial part in improving the internal customer experience of IT solutions, adding value to the business, and ensuring service delivery aligns with global and regional Metso IT guidelines. In this position, you will report to the Regional IT Director.

This position is mainly located in Finland, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. This is a fixed-term contract role, expected to last one year (maternity leave).

Team you belong to

You will join a team of IT infrastructure and service management professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality IT solutions and services. We are currently developing IT infrastructure, optimizing service delivery, and ensuring operational excellence. We work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as business unit leaders, service providers, and global IT teams. Our team culture is all about collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity. The members in our team are located across multiple European countries.

What you'll do

  • Plan, develop, and deliver IT services for on-premises and cloud server platforms in Europe.
  • Install and maintain servers, systems, and databases.
  • Manage devices, passwords, and security operations for server platforms and databases.
  • Handle system performance (Windows Server, IIS/Apache Web App, Services App, Oracle SQL database) and recommend improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and escalate advanced server technical issues with providers and IT support teams.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and corporate guidelines for data management and processing.
  • Manage contracts with suppliers for server platforms, software licenses, and other IT services.
  • Lead and collaborate with internal or third-party multidisciplinary teams across multiple European countries.

Who you are

  • Strong experience in IT services and infrastructure.
  • Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Leadership experience in project management and IT services.
  • Expertise in IT infrastructure management (networks, platforms, end-user computing).
  • Fluency in English and Finnish.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proven decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience managing third-party service providers and vendor contracts.
