About the role
You will be responsible for developing new sales opportunities and managing existing customer relationships as a Sales Development Specialist. This involves visiting customers, delivering product presentations, and creating demand for new products. Additionally, you will conduct competitor analyses and assist customers with product selection.
Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Management:
- Develop new sales opportunities and maintain existing customer relationships.
- Visit new and existing customers, providing introductory presentations.
- Create demand for new products among customers.
- Maintain strong relationships with various key contacts.
Product Management & Logistics:
- Ensure new products are available to customers.
- Keep product samples up to date and conduct tests for customers.
- Conduct competitor analysis (new products, marketing tools, pricing strategies, etc.).
Marketing & Training:
- Promote and present products to customers and at events.
- Provide training to new sales representatives at customer locations.
Administration & Follow-up:
- Maintain telephone contact with customers and schedule follow-ups.
- Prepare and track quotations for new products and marketing tools.
