We are seeking a skilled Senior Frontend Developer to join our Client team in Helsinki. Our Client offers an all-in-one upsell platform tailored for online stores. This centralized solution aids e-commerce businesses in maximizing their revenue through meticulously crafted upselling strategies. By simplifying the process of creating and managing upsells, Our Client enables merchants to effectively increase their average order value and enhance customer buying experiences. This platform integrates seamlessly with existing online store setups, making it a versatile tool for businesses aiming to leverage upselling as a growth strategy.

While upselling may seem like an old and unglamorous tactic, it holds tremendous potential especially for small to medium-sized businesses that lack the resources of larger corporations. By leveraging smart, data-driven upsell strategies, we aim to help these businesses grow, increase their Average Order Value (AOV), and reinvest their profits to scale sustainably.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Optimize Upselling Experience: You will lead the development and optimization of our upselling experience, ensuring high performance and seamless integration into various e-commerce platforms.
  • Frontend and Backend Development: Utilize your strong expertise in React JS for frontend development and enhance our backend systems using modern technologies.
  • Leadership Opportunity: For ambitious candidates, there is the potential to grow into the CTO role, leading our technology team and shaping the future of our tech stack.

We're Looking For:

  • JavaScript Expertise: Extensive experience with JavaScript, especially frameworks like React.
  • Backend Proficiency: Strong skills in backend development, with a preference for those proficient in Typescript.
  • Technical Skills: A solid understanding of advanced CSS animations, performance optimization, unit testing, and performance debugging.
  • Optimization: Expertise in optimizing web performance to ensure fast loading times and smooth interaction.
  • Bonus Skills: Experience with OpenAI APIs and a proven track record in innovative technology solutions.
