About the Role
The Deputy Country Manager will play a pivotal role in driving commercial success in their area of responsibility, aligning with BYD Europe's brand positioning and company culture.
Key Objectives:
- Achieve commercial goals for the countries of responsibility by executing our commercial policies effectively.
- Lead and supervise the execution of our strategies to create great customer experiences across all channels.
- Manage business growth from an omni-channel perspective, prioritizing a B2B2C mindset to negotiate dealership agreements and achieve agreed goals.
- Ensure a customer-centric approach, understanding their needs and collaborating with selected partners to exceed expectations.
- Built a high-performing network of partners and dealers to drive commercial success in the region.
- Serve as the face of BYD at the country level, engaging with industry and key media stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key industry partners to drive mutual growth.
- Oversee the commercial process from lead to order and from order to delivery, ensuring seamless execution.
- Foster a high-performing team through recruitment, coaching, and motivation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 12+ years of overall working experience, including 3+ years in sales management roles within automotive, technology, or branded consumer goods industries.
- Proven experience in dealer management and customer-oriented mindset.
- Excellent people management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to prioritize tasks efficiently and manage time proactively.
- Resilient and open-minded individual with excellent English and local language skills.
- Thorough knowledge of commercial management software and digital tools.
