Role Overview

We are seeking an HR Business Partner to join our global team at the United Nations University. This role is responsible for delivering strategic HR services and solutions that drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Service Design: Develop and implement effective HR services and processes to meet the needs of our employees and stakeholders.
  2. Service Provision: Deliver high-quality HR services, including advice, guidance, and support to employees and managers.
  3. Supervision of Local Team: Lead and manage a local team of HR professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
  4. Advice to Internal Clients: Provide expert advice and guidance to internal clients on HR-related matters, including employment law, policies, and procedures.
  5. Applying and Interpreting Corporate Policies: Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines, and provide training and awareness programs to employees.
  6. Leading Wellbeing Programme: Develop and implement a comprehensive wellbeing program that promotes employee health, well-being, and engagement.
  7. Learning and Development of Personnel: Identify training and development needs of employees and develop programs to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on service delivery and management.
  • Proven track record of delivering strategic HR services and solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
