About This Position

Director, Business Controlling, Supply Chain leads and oversees the business controlling function of the supply chain, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting and a member of the Supply Chain Lead team.

Other main tasks of Director, Business Controlling, Supply Chain are:

  • Develop and monitor financial metrics to optimize supply chain performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing financial insights and support for strategic initiatives and projects.
  • Monitor and analyse KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and present financial analyses to the Management (Oriola and Supply Chain) and other stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration within the Finance Lead Team to develop and improve financial processes, tools and systems.
Skills & RequirementsPersonal and experience Requirements

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have the following experience and skills:

  • An applicable university degree, such as a Master of Science in Technology or M.Sc. (Econ.).
  • Preferably more than 10 years of experience in Business Controller tasks.
  • Strong experience in supply chain and logistics.
  • Strong experience in developing internal accounting and reporting.
  • Solid experience in project management and track record of completed projects.
Other Requirements
  • Competence in internal accounting and reporting & sufficient external accounting skills.
  • Knowledge of financial processes & good understanding/perception of the operating logic of IT systems.
  • Strongly development-oriented and critical mindset that challenges the existing.
  • Good analytical and prioritization skills.
  • Proactive and assertiveness - taking ownership of and completing matters.
  • Good cooperation skills with different stakeholders and able to "sell" their issues to different stakeholders.
  • Strategic expertise - perceiving the big picture.
  • Good oral and written skills in Finnish and English.
