At Evac Group, we are committed to driving sustainability and innovation in the marine, offshore, and building industries. We provide global leadership in water and waste management solutions and are looking for a dynamic Global Procurement Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and controlling all procurement aspects of assigned projects, ensuring supplier capability, material availability, and on-time delivery (OTD). The Global Procurement Specialist will serve as the main point of contact for supply chain and sourcing issues within a project, representing these functions and ensuring sourcing capabilities align with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Supply Chain & Sourcing Lead: Collaborate with project management, sourcing, and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and collaboration to meet project goals.
  • Supplier Management: Act as the single point of contact for suppliers within a project, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to meet project objectives.
  • Procurement Project Plan: Develop, maintain, and execute a comprehensive procurement project plan, covering scope, objectives, schedules, roles, supplier risks, and material costs.
  • Supplier Performance Management: Monitor supplier on-time delivery, material availability, and overall performance, mitigating risks and ensuring project success.
  • Order & Delivery Process Management: Manage the end-to-end purchase order process, ensuring all parties are informed and material flow is uninterrupted.

Key Competencies:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related supply chain field.
  • Experience: At least five years of experience in supply chain management, project management (IPMA-D preferred), and collaboration with R&D teams.
  • Project Purchasing Expertise: Proven track record of excellence in project purchasing, supplier management, and project delivery performance.
  • Problem-Solving & Lean Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with an understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Communication Skills: Fluent in both written and spoken English, with excellent interpersonal skills to manage supplier relationships and internal communications.
