We are looking for a Product Manager to join Axopar's growing community

At Axopar, we are shaping the future of boating and are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our team. As a Product Manager, you will oversee the strategic planning, market research, and comprehensive lifecycle management of products. Your responsibilities include defining product visions, developing key features and models, and ensuring their alignment with market trends and customer needs. You will manage cross-functional projects, steer decision-making processes, and represent the end-user perspective in product development to meet functionality, usability, and quality standards.

You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders, such as strategic purchasing and product development, to contribute to key performance targets. Additionally, you will maintain product cards and represent your product portfolio at key events. The position also involves occasional travel to production, trade shows and sales meetings.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a hybrid work model. You can be based at either our Helsinki or Vaasa office, with the flexibility to work remotely two days a week.

What we expect from you?

To succeed in this position, you need to have previous experience in the product management of premium consumer products, preferably within the marine industry. Experience and knowledge of boats and the marine industry are considered a significant advantage. We value a background in engineering or commerce, with a deep understanding of both the technical and commercial aspects of the role. You have previous experience taking part in and coordinating projects, ideally in an international work environment. Strong analytical skills, along with a solid understanding of cost structures, revenue streams, and financial performance, are crucial for success in this role. Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English are essential, while proficiency in Finnish, Polish, or German is considered an advantage.

We are looking for an individual with strong interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with a variety of contacts in different settings with ease. Resilience and the ability to embrace challenges are essential, as you will often need to influence and advocate for decisions. The ideal candidate should be able to focus on details while maintaining a strategic, big-picture perspective. Additionally, curiosity and excellent presentation skills will help you thrive in this dynamic role.

We are looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about the boat industry. At Axopar, a rapidly growing business, an entrepreneurial, business-oriented mindset and the ability to see things holistically are key to success.

Why Axopar?

Our working environment is forward-thinking, positive, and friendly. We will help you succeed by providing comprehensive onboarding and excellent opportunities to develop your skills and abilities.

Our flexible working environment allows you to choose between working in our cosy office in Helsinki or Vaasa, with the option for partial remote work as well. At Axopar, we offer great employee benefits, including lunch, sports, and culture benefits, as well as leisure and travel insurance.
