Work tasks

  • Conduct energy system analysis and propose solutions incorporating our kinetic energy storage technology
  • Support Teraloop's sales team with technical knowledge, market analysis, and pricing decisions
  • Gather and analyze customer data to ensure reliable findings
  • Assist Teraloop in contract negotiations by providing technical insights
  • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences

We are looking for

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, energy engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in a technical sales or engineering role in the energy sector
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Fluency in English (other languages are a plus)
  • Limited travel required

Information

The energy transition relies on high levels of energy generation from renewable sources. This will require a substantial increase in effective energy storage, to ensure availability of supply, grid flexibility, and reliability. Teraloop addresses that demand with scalable and sustainable solutions based on our patented kinetic energy storage, offering a low cost of ownership for applications requiring heavy cycling. Our solutions distinguish themselves first in the hubless configuration of our rotor topology, which enables us to scale efficiently to higher power and energy than competing flywheel solutions, as well as a higher energy density. We further innovate with sustainable material innovations, such as bio-based and recycled carbon fiber, magnetically loaded composites, and bio-based epoxy resins. Our focus is grid ancillary services, sustainable electric mobility, as well as distributed energy resources.
