Join the UNICEF Team as an Innovation Manager - Accessible Digital Textbooks

UNICEF is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Innovation Manager to lead the Accessible Digital Textbooks (ADT) initiative. This role will play a critical part in advancing UNICEF's goals for inclusive education by driving disability inclusion within the Learning Innovation Hub.

About the Role

The Innovation Manager will be responsible for developing and scaling accessible digital learning tools for children with diverse learning needs. This will involve working closely with country offices, donors, and stakeholders to expand the reach and impact of the ADT programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the ADT initiative
  • Lead the technical management of the ADT initiative, including project management and coordination
  • Manage donor and partner relationships to secure funding and support for the ADT initiative
  • Oversee the effective implementation of the ADT initiative, including monitoring and evaluation
  • Contribute to advocacy efforts for inclusive education on a global scale
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An advanced university degree in occupational therapy, disability studies, organizational psychology, health, social sciences, human rights, or a related field
  • At least eight years of increasingly responsible professional experience in disability inclusion in an international organization and/or large corporation
  • Experience working in developing countries and in the area of technology and innovation in relation to disability inclusion
  • Leadership experience in implementing disability inclusion policies at a strategic level
