Job Title: Finance Manager - Strategic Financial Leader

Job Description:

The Finance Manager plays a pivotal role in managing accurate financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and implementing internal controls to safeguard financial integrity. This senior financial leader is responsible for managing cash flow, overseeing tax compliance, and coordinating audit activities. As a strategic advisor, the Finance Manager provides essential financial insights to assist in making informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Manage and refine financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow management to ensure robust financial health and make informed decisions.
  • Internal Controls: Implement and enhance procedures for internal accounting and cost monitoring to mitigate risks.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic business decisions and drive growth.
  • Compliance: Collaborate closely with external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead high-performing finance professionals and work closely with external accounting partners.

Requirements:

  • Accounting and Financial Expertise: Profound knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and financial management is essential.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Adept at preparing and managing budgets, forecasting financial trends, and analyzing variances.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Taxation: Understanding of local and international financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements is crucial.
  • Strategic Planning and Analysis: Ability to analyze financial data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities, providing strategic recommendations to top management.
  • Risk Management: Knowledge of risk assessment and the ability to develop strategies to manage financial risks.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership skills to manage and mentor a team of finance professionals and external accountants.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills to explain complex financial information to stakeholders.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of the broader business environment, industry-specific challenges, and how financial decisions impact the overall business strategy.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with financial software, ERP systems, BI platforms, and advanced Excel skills.
