About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance and Accounting Manager to join our team at Saint-Gobain Rakennustuotteet Oy. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, internal controls, team leadership, cash flow management, tax management, strategic influence, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial statements and prepare financial reports in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
  • Internal Controls and Compliance: Establish and enforce financial policies and procedures and manage internal and external audits.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the accounting team by fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, oversee accounts receivable and payable functions.
  • Tax Management: Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and coordinate planning with external tax advisors.
  • Strategic Influence: Assist the CFO in developing financial strategies and participate in M&As.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Requirements
  • Multiple years' background in Financial Controlling or similar roles and experience in building scalable finance functions.
  • Experience in a leadership role.
  • Experience in Accounting and Standalone & Group Consolidated Audits.
  • Knowledge in business partnering, FP&A, and customer analytics.
  • Fluent English (oral and written) as it will be the working language.
  • Eagerness to work hard, roll up sleeves, and work side-by-side with the team.
  • Willingness to take responsibility and thrive in a fast-moving environment.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience in B2B SaaS environment, ERP roll-out, integrations, or Big 4 Audit/Transactional Service.
  • Fluent Finnish is seen as a plus.
