About The Role

Essity Health and Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Brand Manager to drive brand positioning in wound care across the Nordics and Baltics, aligning with global brand strategies. This role involves leading strategic initiatives within wound care to support business growth in each country, working closely with national sales and marketing teams, and serving as the primary liaison with global marketing functions. Additionally, you will contribute to selected projects in other product categories. The ideal candidate should be based in Gothenburg or at any of our other main offices in the Nordic or Baltic countries (e.g Alleröd, Espoo or Oslo). The role reports to the Marketing Director Nordics & Baltics.

As part of our dedicated Nordic Marketing Team, you will manage various product areas and sales channels, collaborating closely with sales teams and maintaining a broad network of internal stakeholders, from global functions to daily customer service interactions.

What You Will Do

  • Support the business in wound care under the brands Leukoplast, Cutimed, and Sorbact.
  • Lead and facilitate strategic initiatives within wound care to support business in each country, including tender shaping, market mapping, pricing, and communication.
  • Represent the Nordics and Baltics in global innovation projects.
  • Provide input and direction for Marketing Plans, focusing on synergies and utilizing global materials.
  • Assortment maintenance and updates.
  • You will also from time to time manage prioritized projects within other product categories.
  • Coordinate global product launches.
  • Assist colleagues with product knowledge and documentation throughout the tender-bidding process.
Who You Are
  • University degree, preferably in marketing, business administration, economics.
  • A firm requirement for this position is that you have a background within the wound care business, e.g. as a Brand Manager, Product Manager, Assortment Manager or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience of developing and activating marketing plans/deliverables.
  • Experienced marketer with strong branding skills.
  • Digital marketing experience preferably towards healthcare staff and/or B2B customers.
  • You are open-minded and willing to learn from peers.
  • You are structured and enjoy building and driving more efficient ways of working across teams.
  • You are a strong presenter and motivator.
  • You appreciate jumping between working with strategy and very practical operational tasks.
  • You can analyze data/information, draw conclusions and act on them.
  • Financial acumen and understanding.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills, and ability to navigate in a matrix organization with many stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.
