Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Project Manager to join our team at ManTech International. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading projects involving network security, cloud operations, and IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables within the network, security, and cloud operations environment.
  2. Coordinate project activities and develop project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.
  3. Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks and ensure project success.
  4. Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on project progress and performance.
  5. Collaborate with the PMO team to maintain visibility of all tasks and projects, and provide updates on network, security, and cloud operation policies and best practices.
  6. Coordinate vendor management, procurement, installation, and maintenance of network, security, and cloud systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  7. Develop and maintain documentation on project policies, SOPs, and best practices, and provide status updates and other project information as requested.
  8. Manage change requests related to network, security, and cloud operations, assessing the impact of changes on the project and utilizing Change Control Boards (CCBs) to manage and control project-related changes.
  9. Define and monitor project quality standards, conducting quality control checks to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards.
Requirements
  1. A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, finance, business management, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of one year of experience as a Technical Project Manager, with knowledge and experience applying project management best practices.
  3. IT knowledge and understanding, with experience on projects involving Agile and DevOps processes.
  4. Understanding of and some experience overseeing implementation of ITIL practices.
  5. Experience leading small project teams and providing technical direction to guide project team execution.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. A Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification.
  2. An Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification.
  3. Experience with Change Control Boards and change management.
  4. Experience working with ServiceNow.
Clearance Requirements
  1. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  2. Must hold a Secret level clearance.
  3. Eligible to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
Physical Requirements
  1. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  2. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
  3. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
