Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Sales Support Representative / Field Technician to join our Nordic Sales Team. Based in Finland, this role will focus on building and managing customer relationships, promoting Syngenta's agricultural solutions, and gathering market insights to drive business growth. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Finnish Market Manager and Nordic technical and marketing teams to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Finnish agricultural customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Syngenta developments, including crop protection, biologicals, and digital solutions, and effectively communicate their value to customers.
  • Collaborate with customer marketing, technical, and field force colleagues to develop tailored solutions for Finnish agriculture.
  • Contribute to sales and marketing campaign planning and execution, creating engaging content and materials to educate stakeholders on new solutions.
  • Organize and manage field trial demonstration sites, working closely with growers to support the local sales team.
  • Provide internal and external reporting, ensuring accurate and timely data.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Agronomics or relevant biological education, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a similar role in the agri-business sector in Finland.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain successful business relationships.
  • Capacity for networking internally and externally, with a strong understanding of the Finnish agriculture market.
  • Knowledge of Syngenta and key competitor products, with the ability to adopt and communicate their value.
  • Self-motivating, drive, and ability to work independently, with a strong IT literacy and proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Fluent in Finnish and professional level of English; skills in Swedish language are a bonus.
  • Full driving license and flexibility to travel.
