Aalto University is seeking a highly skilled researcher to join our Engineered NanoSystems research group. The successful candidate will work on compound semiconductor energy converters, combining optical thermodynamics with semiconductor-based energy conversion.

About the Position

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in III-V semiconductor device fabrication, epitaxy, and theory. They will contribute to the development of optical heat pumps and energy harvesting approaches based on electroluminescence.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research in compound semiconductor energy converters
  • Develop new materials and devices for energy conversion
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve research goals
About the Team

The Engineered NanoSystems research group is part of Aalto University's Department of Electrical Engineering and Automation. Our team aims to demonstrate and develop novel semiconductor-based chemical energy converters.
