We seek a talented Software Engineer to join our team in the Semiconductor ALD Business Unit at Beneq. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain Software systems for ALD (Atomic Layer Deposition) equipment, contributing to high-tech projects in the semiconductor field. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the software systems used in ALD Equipment, driving both innovation and continuous development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications.
- Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for the software systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in software engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in mission-critical software development using C# .NET.
- Strong critical thinking skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Deep understanding of software development methodologies (CMMI, Waterfall, Kanban, Agile).
- Knowledge of architectural patterns such as MVVM, Microservices, SOA.
- Familiarity with UML and other modelling methods.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (Postgres, MSSQL).
- Experience with .NET UI/UX design (WPF).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD).
- Experience with Developing Human Machine Interface.
- Proficiency with Unit Testing (NUnit, xUnit).
Soft Skills:
- Strong diligence and structured working methods.
- Excellent documentation and technical writing abilities.
- A solid understanding of software quality assurance principles.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- A technical mindset with great attention to detail.
