In this role, you will be responsible for creating and nurturing our story, developing our relationships with media, and helping build YIT's reputation. You will partner with our Infrastructure segment to deliver effective internal communications and work closely with colleagues in Group Communications and other teams.

Your key areas of focus will include:

  • Developing and implementing our external communications strategy, including media relations and crisis communications
  • Partnering with the Infrastructure segment to support their external and internal communications
  • Actively contributing to the success of the team, collaborating and sharing ideas, with the ability to execute plans independently with high quality and integrity

To succeed in this role, you'll need a master's degree and at least 10 years of experience in corporate communications, preferably in a public company environment. Your expertise should include proven track records in media relations and crisis communications, existing media relations in Finland, and good knowledge and extensive experience of social media channels and other relevant tools for stakeholder communications.

You'll have strong networking and communications skills in an international environment, and experience in leading and managing complex communications projects, with both strategic understanding and hands-on approach.

Fluency in Finnish and English languages, and passion for writing, are essential requirements for this role.
