We are a small business looking for a Compliance Manager to join our Compliance & Risk department in Helsinki. Our vision is simple: Eliminate the distractions of financial admin and simplify work life.

As a Regulatory Compliance Manager at Holvi, you'll manage the balancing act of enabling teams to build excellent services for our customers while ensuring top-notch adherence to the regulatory obligations of a financial institution. This involves acting as a consultant in regards to regulatory requirements towards the business, advising and supporting the business lines, performing compliance assessments, and developing and maintaining company-wide policies.

A typical day could see you:

  1. Acting as a consultant on regulatory requirements towards the business.
  2. Advising and supporting the business lines in the establishment and execution of action plans to address compliance deficiencies and self-identified issues.
  3. Performing compliance assessments, overseeing and helping in the execution of regulatory obligations of a financial institution, such as regulatory reporting.
  4. Developing and maintaining company-wide policies, including ensuring the enforcement and successful training of your colleagues.
  5. Executing recurring controls and testing of business processes as part of the Compliance Monitoring Program.

This is for you if you:

  • Feel at home in Banking and FinTech, have 3+ years of practical experience in compliance management in a financial institution, preferably in second line of defence roles.
  • Possess strong communication skills and emotional intelligence to navigate with ease in an organisation that embraces cultural diversity and remote work as much as office work.
  • Are highly organized and adaptable, excelling in remote work setups with effective time management, also in more stressful phases.
  • Are results-driven, proactive and highly accountable with the ability to work independently and deliver tangible outcomes.
  • Are a strong communicator and team player, skilled in building relationships and collaborating in international environments.
  • Are fluent in English, both spoken and written.

It's a plus if you:

  • Speak any additional languages, such as Finnish and/or German.
  • Have worked in a payment institution and/or an investment firm before.
