Quality & Regulatory Compliance Specialist

We are looking for our next colleague, a Quality and Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join the Branded Products Quality team within Paulig Central Quality Functions.
In this role you will be an important player in securing product information and package labelling content. You will be responsible for providing needed quality and regulatory data, such as label artwork, food safety parameters in specifications, in various business and product development processes and projects.
This is a permanent position in an international team, and you can be located at one of the Paulig offices; in Mölndal Sweden; in Roeselare, Belgium; in Vuosaari, Finland; in Milton Keynes, UK. You will report to Branded Products Quality Manager, located in Finland.
What You Will Do- Participation in product development and/or marketing projects aiming to launch products locally and internationally.
- Providing quality and food safety knowledge and support within the area of regulatory and legal compliance.
- Coordination of risk assessments in changes, in new raw material projects, new product launch projects, in projects with contracted manufacturing.
- Securing accurate quality information for new and existing products. Interpret and respond to regulatory questions to resolve issues in co-operation with Paulig's regulatory team experts.
- Accountable for package labelling control: verification of ingredient list, declarations and product claims, verification of fulfillment of regulatory requirements.
You would be a great fit if your background and experience would look similar to this:
- University degree in Bio engineering, food science, nutrition or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in food industry.
- Experience in quality and/or sales support data management systems.
- Ability to interpret and implement legislation.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, as company language is English.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and ways to manage food safety in food production is considered beneficial to succeed in this role.

Ability and willingness to work in cross-functional project teams, but also independently to meet the targets is needed in this job. You have a curiosity to learn from others and to use new IT-tools and systems. The ability to cooperate and communicate with others is a key to success in this role. As you are the expert, advising and acquiring credibility with stakeholders is needed.
