PhD Researcher in Nanomedicine Based Cancer Therapy

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented researcher to join our team as a Doctoral Researcher in Precision Cancer Medicine. The successful candidate will be part of our multidisciplinary research group at the University of Oulu, focusing on the development of novel cancer diagnostic and targeted therapeutic approaches.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research on the composition and roles of tumor-derived extracellular vesicles (EVs) in cancer progression and metastasis.
- Develop and apply cutting-edge methodologies for EV bioengineering and therapeutic applications.
- Collaborate with our team to design and execute experiments, analyze data, and interpret results.
- Contribute to the development of research proposals, manuscripts, and presentations.
- Participate in national and international collaborations to advance the field of EV research.
- Master's degree in molecular and cell biology, embryology, developmental biology, biochemistry, biomedicine, medicine, bioinformatics, data analysis, or related fields.
- Excellent capacity to work with cell culture, organoids, and in vivo disease modeling.
- Interest in applying cancer genetic and epigenetic/multi-OMICs data analysis on experimental and clinical data.
- Basic knowledge of cancer cell biology.
- Fluent in written and spoken English language.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
