Doctoral Researcher in Digital Waters Research

We are seeking 11 highly motivated and talented Doctoral Researchers to join our DIWA Flagship research ecosystem, a large-scale research initiative funded by the Research Council of Finland. The doctoral pilot will focus on complex interactions and responses in the hydrosphere, methodological, data/digital, and management skills needed to become game changers in water research, governance, and innovation.
The thematic focus includes hydrology, ecology, water resources engineering, water supply, water management, social sciences, ICT, and data research. As a Doctoral Researcher, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of topics and collaborate with a diverse team of researchers and experts.
Qualification RequirementsWe are looking for excellent candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Must hold a recent master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study.
- Must have achieved good grades in the MSc degree (i.e. at least 60 % of the maximum grade).
- Must demonstrate English language skills sufficient for doctoral studies through official documents.

Doctoral researchers will be offered a three-year (36 month) fixed-term full-time employment contract. The starting gross salary will be roughly €/month.
