We are looking for a Application / Solution Specialist to join our IT Unit´s application support team.

The IT Unit is responsible for running NIB´s business critical applications and supporting them with the help of our vendor network. We mainly work with Microsoft stack. The Unit is suitable in size, therefore everyone can make a difference and have an impact. The application support team is reporting directly to the CIO of NIB. As a Solutions Specialist you will report to the team lead, Head of Architecture & Application support.

You will be engaged mainly on supporting and developing activities related to our Credit process applications, which include the main Credit Origination workflow tool, but also different analytics tools around it. You are not left alone, since you will have knowledgeable colleagues, with different skillsets to help you succeed.

Your journey in NIB will consist of:

  • Responsibility to work as part of the implementation team of the new Credit Origination workflow solution and being the key IT side owner of the tool after the implementation, managing the changes, operational issues and developing the tool forward together with internal stakeholders.
  • Ensuring the systems to be secure, stable, and serving the Bank's needs.
  • Ensuring the vendors are functioning according to best practices regarding development and maintenance of NIB's systems.
  • Following agreed operational principles within IT unit to provide standard service experience for our internal customers, the users.
  • Giving your input to continuous improvement of our practices.
  • Taking part in projects and other activities within the Unit.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Good knowledge/ or hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure integration capabilities and networking.
  • Firm Knowledge of ITIL Framework, Service management and Software Development Life Cycle to be able to challenge and guide vendors when needed.
  • Experience with managing applications from a technical perspective (scripting and technical layer management).
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure security stack and monitoring from a system perspective.
  • Basic understanding of Azure Identity Management (e.g. Entra-ID).
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira & Confluence) is valued.
  • Good ability to document technical solutions and keep the documentation maintained.
  • Ability to learn quickly, growth mindset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
