What's exciting about the role

The Nordics is our biggest Direct to Merchant (DTM) business, and we aim to support the growth of this business through better use of data. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the heart of data-driven decision-making, where your analytical skills directly impact business strategy. You'll dive deep into profitability analysis, pricing models, and data quality assessments - turning raw data into powerful insights that shape the future of merchant acquiring.

Key responsibilities

  1. Gather and analyze business requirements to design and implement data solutions
  2. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis
  3. Perform profitability analysis on merchant, segment, and market levels
  4. Build pricing models
  5. Conduct data profiling and data quality assessments to ensure accurate reporting
  6. Collaborate with business stakeholders to create ad-hoc reports and analyses as needed
  7. Provide training and support to end-users
  8. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in data analytics

Skills and Experience we desire

  1. Native Finnish, plus advanced English language
  2. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  3. 8+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Financial Analyst role
  4. General business knowledge on dynamics of merchant acquiring
  5. Strong proficiency in Power BI and MS Office Suite
  6. Strong proficiency with SQL and database management
  7. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information
  8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  9. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  10. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  11. Experience in generating process documentation and reports
