The Hotel Maria, situated in Kruununhaka district of Helsinki, offers a distinctive choice for those who appreciate Nordic hospitality and refined luxury. Responsibilities:

1. Several years experience from hotel operations.
2. Ability to lead the front desk team in own shift, make quick decisions during shifts, and address any guest concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
3. Ensuring a top-tier guest experience by handling complex or challenging situations with grace, diplomacy, and professionalism.
4. Ability to communicate clearly with both guests and staff, while effectively managing multiple tasks and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the front desk.
5. Expertise in hotel systems (Opera / Opera cloud), check-ins, check-outs, billing, reservations, and maintaining the smooth flow of operations, ensuring no details are overlooked.
6. Managing the front desk during high-demand periods, remaining calm and composed, and adapting to changing guest needs or hotel situations.
7. Acting swiftly to address possible complaints, offering immediate solutions as a substitute for the management. Ensuring the guest is satisfied with the resolution and following up to confirm the issue has been fully addressed, helping to maintain loyalty and trust.

Minimum Language Requirements: Fluent in Finnish and English.

Employment Contract and Working Hours:

These positions are fixed term approximately 90 hours or 112.5h / 3 weeks, starting flexible during April-May, depending on your life situation. And we hope you can continue with us after summer.

Recruitment is done together with our partner Eezy, however contracts are signed directly with The Hotel Maria.
