As Chief Payment Product Manager at Samlink you will be responsible for managing the payments product portfolio and development roadmap to drive overall business objectives. This role involves articulating a compelling vision for the payment portfolio, providing trusted guidance to our customers, and ensuring alignment with evolving market requirements. Working closely with a team of payment product managers, you will strive to meet Samlink's strategic goals and maintain a high level of client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Define and drive the vision for the payment product portfolio to support and accelerate business growth.
  2. Develop and implement a robust payments product strategy that aligns with client needs, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
  3. Plan and execute the payments roadmap to ensure the timely delivery of solutions that meet client expectations.
  4. Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to define development requirements and priorities.
  5. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong, long-lasting relationships by understanding and addressing their business needs and technical requirements.
  6. Understand the evolving technology landscape, industry trends, regulatory changes, and competition.

Please note that our offices are located in Espoo and Jyväskylä, and the candidate would need to be based in these areas.

Who You Are

You're good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. However, equally as important – you have a growth mindset; keen to drive your own personal and professional development. Required Technical And Professional Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in the Finnish payments landscape, preferably in a bank.
  • Proven track record of developing software products in the banking industry.
  • Strong understanding of product management and software development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust both internally and with clients.
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills with a hands-on attitude.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Finnish and good communication skills in English.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
