We are looking for a Real Estate Management Specialist who will be supporting the alignment of real estate strategy with business strategies in liaison with key business stakeholders. This global role covers all facility aspects such as working on transaction services management, working together with our Facility management collaborator network globally and setting optimal structure and services by site type.

This role will be based in Helsinki, Finland and will report to the VP Real Estate.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Participate for overall transaction management of the real estate portfolio as it relates to leasing, development, acquisition, subleasing and disposal of space
  • Further develop the global Workplace Guidelines and Standards
  • Ensure the Workplace standards are respected by supporting and coaching local business and project teams
  • Provide property portfolio financial modelling scenarios to enable functional, flexible and cost-effective properties in support of business objectives
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to deliver property solutions, contribute to the preparation of real estate investment requests and consult on cross-regional projects
  • Track data quality on data management tools, portfolio reports and work with collaborators and key site contacts to help improve accuracy
  • Development and execution of facility services approach, governance concepts and processes related to the facility services global activity
  • Develop and own process for Facility Management collaboration-specific facility services tasks, processes and reporting.
  • Responsible for securing own and co-workers' safety and health with all possible means
  • Follow-up physical security guidelines and related updates when needed.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Commercial or Technical background, Master degree, preferably in engineering or real estate
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the field of international real estate management
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in workplace planning or related fields
  • Experience in contract and performance management with ability to develop best practices
  • Knowledge of real estate, workplace, financial and other performance metrics, including productivity measurement
  • Experience in developing workplace strategies and office design
  • Basic knowledge of real estate transactions, workplace planning and project management
  • Relationship management expertise; ability to set clear objectives and performance management systems. Experience in workflow management of programmes.
  • Good interpersonal and consultation skills
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Highly independent and self-directed
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
