As a member of our Agent Builder team, you will be part of the team that will build the next generation of apps in Yalo. We use cutting-edge technologies in the industry for both backend and frontend development. We're looking for people who will bring different solutions to the table and work with increasing standards. You will also be able to explore any career path you choose: contributor or manager.

The Senior Software Engineer in the Agent Builder team will support the design and evolution of the AI Agents architecture at Yalo, using high standards in Software Engineering and state-of-the-art concepts of Gen AI. You have a consistent track record of delivery and excellent software engineering skills, balanced with high quality and a customer focus. You can work across multiple facets of the project (including research, development, testing, and operations). You have a robust analytical capability and the ability to create innovative solutions, and you must be someone who thrives in a fast-paced Agile environment with a can-do attitude.

What are the activities of a Senior Software Engineer?

• Research, design, and evolve our current platform, focusing on the AI components.
• Own and contribute to the evolution of our AI Agent architecture.
• Implement high-performing, high-quality, tested backend applications in a microservices event-driven architecture.
• Triage production issues, identify root causes, and participate in post-mortem writing and review.
• In collaboration with the team, participate in the creation of a technology roadmap.
• Actively participate in code reviews, providing insights in terms of performance, security, best practices, and overall quality of the code.
• Create end-to-end integrations with customer APIs.

If you meet the following experience, this is your role—don't hesitate. We want you on the team

• 7+ years of experience as a Back-end Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proven experience building high-demand and resilient systems. 
• Proficiency with Python, Go, or any other mature language.
• Experience with Cloud Native technologies.
• Strong experience event-driven architectures and distributed systems in general. 

If you have the following skills and experience, it will be a super plus:

• Experience working at start-ups previously.
• Experience building Agentic products. 
• AI evaluation systems.
